Visakhapatnam: Nearly 50 girl students of Kendriya Vidyalaya and Ramanath Secondary School on Wednesday witness operations at the Visakhapatnam airport. Almost half the students expressed a desire to take the aviation sector as a career. Global aerospace company Lockheed Martin teamed up with Women in Aviation India Chapter (WAIC) and Airports Authority of India (AAI) to showcase oppo-rtunities in the aviation and aerospace sectors.

Lockheed Martin chief executive Phil Shaw said there were no boundaries to innovation and girls could explore careers in aviation and aerospace.
