New Delhi: The untoward incident of a Bollywood teen actor being allegedly molested on a Vistara flight shocked the fans and celebs alike. The popular actor levelled molestation charges on a fellow passenger travelling on the same flight.
Soon, the accused was identified and arrested under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) as the actor happens to be a minor.
The cops have recorded the young actor's statement. In her statement, the actor revealed that she was travelling from New Delhi to Mumbai via Vistara flight UK 981 along with her mother. The actress flew to the city to collect her Golden Petal Award.
She narrated the entire incident in her statement. The actress said, "I was seated on the front row (F1) along with my mother, who was sitting right next to me. A middle-aged man was seated behind me and just as the flight took off, this man stretched his right foot on the armrest. He then moved his right foot behind my back and neck, and I felt somebody brushing against my back. When I realised what he was doing, I became alert and tried to move towards the other end of the seat but when he didn't stop, I felt uncomfortable. Then I shouted at the man and told him to sit properly. I informed the staff of the airlines as well."
