Navi Mumbai: More than six people were injured after hill cutting and blasting work at the proposed Navi Mumbai airport site triggered a landslide on Saturday.
The NRI coastal police have registered a case against GVK group and its sub contractor, RBR, under Sections 286 (Negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance), 336 (endangering life or personal safety of others), 337 (endangering life or personal safety of others), 338 (Causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427 (mischief) of the Indian Penal Code.
