CISF returns jewellery to rightful owner at IGI Airport

New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) returned a pouch of jewellery ,worth four lakhs, to the rightful owner at terminal three of Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi.

A CISF duty personnel deployed at scanning machine at international security hold Area (SHA) on January 6, noticed a pouch lying unattended on the output roller of said X-BIS machine.

Immediately, the unattended pouch was checked from security point of view.
After ascertaining that there was no dangerous item inside the bag, it was opened and jewellery worth around Rs 4 lakhs was found,stated CISF in a release here on Monday.
