New Delhi: Cows on Indian roads are a common sight but now they are making their presence felt on runways here as well.
On Thursday morning, at least two flights could not land at Ahmedabad as a cow had sauntered on the runway.The flights -- an International one from Gulf and other a Cargo plane -- then had for Mumbai and land there instead of Ahmedabad .
Confirming this, Airports Authority Of India chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra said: "A cow had entered through cargo side. But was controlled soon."
