Mohali: The watch hours at Chandigarh International Airport may increase by 45 minutes after it re-opens on February 27. The airport, which had remained closed from February 12, is all set to resume its operations on Tuesday.
President Ram Nath Kovind, who is scheduled to visit Chandigarh in connection with a golden jubilee celebration of a leading girls' college, will also land at the airport on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Air India has announced the departure of its Sharjah-bound flight on Tuesday instead of Monday - citing the passenger rush and demand.
The Sharjah flight operates thrice a week, which is Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
