Lo! Even runway of Lucknow airport will have chock-a-block scene

Lucknow: Not only the roads leading to much-hyped Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit-2018 will have traffic jams on February 21 and 22 but the runways at Lucknow airport are going to have chock-a-block scene.  Reason – so many chartered planes on a single day beyond the capacity of Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in the state capital.

The summit to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of dozens of Central ministers  has a galaxy of the captains of industry –many of them arriving in their private or chartered aircrafts. This situation is bound to lead to a chaos not only outside but insde the airport and at the runway and aircraft parking bays .

A senior official at the airport  told newstrack.com that the capacity of 12 aircrafts but the information of more than two dozen private planes had already been received. In such situation, the planes are likely to be parked at nearby airports of Fursatganj in Raebareli or even Varanasi, he said.
