NCB officials seizes 11.30 kg drug, one held

Chennai: Officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized 11.
300 kg Pseudoephedrine, meant for smuggling to Kuala Lumpur, from a passenger at the Trichy International airport on Tuesday night.

NCB Zonal Director A Bruno, in a release on Wednesday said, based on a specific information, the officials intercepted S Ajim Nagoor Khan (24), a resident of Ramanathapuram District of Tamil Nadu, at the airport.

He was trying to smuggle Pseudoephedrine to Kuala Lumpur by Air Malindo Flight OD 224.
The drug was concealed in 80 Stainless steel lunch boxes packed in two carton boxes.
