With 7 ATR operated routes, Indigo boosts regional connectivity

The airline operator, IndiGo announced that it is going to expand all its regional operations. It is planning to add seven newly ATR-operated flights from the next month onwards. These flights are going to connect Nagpur and Mangalore with Hyderabad and Chennai. The flights will operate two direct flights on a daily basis on the Hyderabad-Nagpur-Hyderabad sector and three times on a daily basis on the Hyderabad-Mangalore-Hyderabad sector starting from 25th March stated the airline.

The airline has also mentioned that it will be operating two direct flights on a daily basis starting from 1st May on the Chennai-Mangalore-Chennai sector. At present, the fleet of IndiGo consists of 155 aircrafts out of which 151 are Airbus A320s and four of them are ATRs. The spokesperson of IndiGo, Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said during the release that the airlines is trying to strive and expand deeper into the heartland with its new ATR fleet on a continuous basis and that they are hoping to provide more choices to their customers with the help of these flights. IndiGo airlines which is a no-frills airline operator based in Gurugram operates a total of 1000 flights on a daily basis connecting near about 50 destinations and helping customers all over the country.
