Union Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu on Monday said that his ministry is in talks with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of leading airlines for marketing various destinations in the country.
Addressing a press conference at Dabolim International Airport here, he said, ''Under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, I have decided to market Goa and there I am talking to foreign airlines and telling them that they always have marketing programme for destinations. So I had a meeting with global CEO of Singapore Airlines and I told him to market destinations in India, particularly Goa. And I want to do it with all the leading airlines. I want to tell that the market is growing globally.'' ''I want to do this with all the leading airlines. I will tell them that we need to market globally,'' he said.
