Becoming a pilot is a herculean task indeed if you break down the technicalities. You literally fly with the responsibility of so many lives in your hands. Anny Divya is not only a pilot known for her work , but is now the world's youngest female Boeing 777 commander in the world!
She is currently employed with Air India and is living her childhood dream. In a recent interview, she explained about her passion to fly . “ I always wanted to become a pilot, from my childhood,I didn't have anybody around who knew about piloting at that time. I had no guidance, I just wanted to fly.
Anny hails from Vijayawada and moving to a big city was a big cultural change for her. “I had issues with the language and cultural changes, even the way I would dress was different because I came from a smaller city," Divya says. "The others were from good cities and had gone to good schools and colleges, I had language barriers, I had cultural barriers."
Anny is not only a role model for many young kids who harbour the same dreams, but a prime example of achieving one's dreams with dedicated hard work. You dream what you achieve!
