Mohali: The Chandigarh international airport will open for flight operations for five hours on Sundays from July 1, airport officials said here on Friday.
Deepesh Joshi, PRO, Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL), said the airport, which at present remained closed on Sundays on account of runway repair, would operate flights between 1 pm and 6 pm with effect from July 1 this year.
Joshi said the watch hours at the airport would be revised after the airport reopens on May 31.
“On June 1 and June 2, the watch hours would remain the same, 7.20 am to 5.30 pm. From June 4, the watch hours would be revised to 7 am-6 pm,” he said.
