Nashik: Air Deccan will restart its flight service between nashik and Pune from June 21, after a gap of about two months.
The airline had stopped the operations from April 20 following lack of clearance from the defence ministry. “Now, we have received clearance from the ministry and are restarting Nashik-Pune operations from June 21,” said an Air Deccan official.
Instead of six days a week, the airlines will offer services thrice a week -- on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. From July 15, the Nashik-Pune flight will be operational on all week days, except Mondays, officials said.
The flight will take off from Nashik at 6.05pm and will land at Pune at 6.45pm. From Pune, it will take off at 7.07pm and will land at Nashik at 7.45pm.
Air Deccan started air service from Nashik under the regional connectivity scheme from December 23, with the Nashik-Pune flight, while Nashik-Mumbai flight started on December 26.
