C’garh gets air connectivity to Jharkhand, Odisha, AP

Raipur: By all probabilities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the domestic flight service sector under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) to connect Chhattisgarh with Jharkhand, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh (AP) on June 14.
However, the air operations would only begin from June 15 onwards. These flights will operate from Raipur to Jagdalpur, Vishakhapatnam, Ranchi and Bhubaneswar.
Director General of Civil Aviation has also released the flight schedule of commuter operation. Meanwhile, Airport Authority of Swami Vivekananda Airport has allotted Air Odisha the space for counter at new terminal, where passengers can book the ticket.The air services are going to start for Jharkhand, Andhra and Odisha under the Connect India Programme to connect Raipur with many other states via Jagdalpur, and Jharsugda.
