Pune: A Jet Airways flight from Pune to Delhi was delayed by almost 5 hours on Tuesday.
Though sources at the airport here attributed the delay to “a technical problem”, the airline and its public relations agency did not respond to TOI’s query till the time of going to the press.
The flight (9W-336) was scheduled to take off from Pune at 11:05am. However, it left Pune at 4:36pm, much to the chagrin of the travellers on board.
“Your flight is delayed by 5 hours and your staff is not assisting the passengers,” Rajesh Gandhi, one of the flyers, wrote to Jet Airways on Twitter.
Another middle-aged passenger, who was waiting at the lounge, said he had not received any prior notification from the airline about the delay.
