Bhubaneswar: A youth was detained for allegedly trespassing onto the runway of Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha capital today.
According to reports, the detainee, a resident of Dumduma on the outskirts of the city, was spotted by CISF personnel roaming suspiciously on the runway.
The youth scaled the boundary wall of the airport near Khandagiri and entered inside the premises, reports said, adding that he had reached near an IndiGo flight scheduled to leave for Delhi.
