Agra-Jaipur flight to resume operations from 16th July, tourism industry ecstatic

After four-month long hiatus, the Agra-Jaipur flight of Air India will again start flying between these two cities from 16th July albeit at a changed time.

This news has generated a feeling of joy in the tourism industry of Agra, as with the withdrawal of Agra-Jaipur Shatabdi by the Indian Railways, tourists were currently forced to make a long 4-5 hour journey to Jaipur by road and with the flight starting again, it is expected to operate at full capacity like its previous operation in December last year.

Talking to India Today, Airport Authority of India officials confirmed that the flight will be operating four days a week, taking off from Jaipur in the morning at 6:50 am and landing in Agra at 8 am. It will take off from Agra at 8:30 am and land in Jaipur at 9:30 am and Air India has scheduled the ATR-72 aircraft for this route instead of the ATR-48 it was flying earlier due to the heavy seat occupancy on the route. The flight will be operated on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
