Rajkot: Air India’s Mumbai-bound evening flight from Rajkot was cancelled due to technical reasons on Saturday afternoon.
The passengers were informed about the cancellation two hours before take off. However, as there is no space to accommodate more than two flights at a time at Rajkot airport, the Air India flight was cancelled. The airport already has one grounded Jet Airways flight due to bird hit since Saturday morning and another flight was to take off in the evening.
Some of the passengers came to the airport to request rescheduling of their tickets.
