Raipur: The corporate vigilance department of Airport Authority of India had organised a two-day workshop on Preventive Vigilance - A Tool for Better Governance on July 26 and 27 at Swami Vivekananda Airport, in Raipur. Interactive sessions were conducted by key dignitaries from the department including the chief vigilance officer of AAI, RS Bhatti.
The event was attended by around 52 participants from airports like Bagdogra, Patna, Gaya, Port Blair, Pekyong, Jharsuguda, Kolkata, Raipur and Bhubaneswar.
The workshop focused on various facets of vigilance such as preventive, punitive, surveillance and proactive vigilance. The seminar stressed on the importance of technology as enabler in AAI.
