New Delhi: An Iranian couple was apprehended at the Delhi airport for allegedly using a fake ticket to enter the terminal area, a senior official said today.
Md Pirazizi and Y Yasdanzoo were intercepted by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel as the couple was about to leave the Terminal-3 building of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) around 2 pm, the official said.
The couple, who had an Iranian passport, told the security personnel they used a cancelled ticket to enter the terminal area to see off their daughter who was travelling to Tehran, the official said.
