Lucknow: Passengers had to walk 400 metres till airport terminal, as parking of taxis was shifted from the terminal area towards Kanpur road due to the VVIP movement from Lucknow's Amausi airport for PM Narendra Modi's ground-breaking ceremony in city on Sunday. Besides, ten unscheduled chartered planes of delegates and business tycoons had landed at the airport which hindered the arrival and departure schedule of flights.
Keeping in view the VVIP movement, several changes, like shifting of parking area and restriction of
movement of passenger vehicles, were made at the airport ahead of the event.
People who came to receive their family members and friends were not allowed to drive in their vehicles till the terminal, which left many inconvenienced.
