Aurangabad resident Zaheda Shaikh was arrested at Mumbai international airport with a passport issued to Sheeba Rajendran from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Shaikh went to Dubai in 2005 to work as a domestic help. She was unable to return to India as her passport and visa had expired.
The agent, identified only as ‘Malbari’ from Kerala, promised to help her. He placed Shaikh’s photograph on Rajendran’s passport. “But immigration officials in Mumbai got suspicious and scanned the passport and discovered the forgery,” said a police officer.
