Ahmedabad: A high octane drama ensued at Ahmedabad airport when a woman from Bangladesh allegedly tried to commit suicide on the campus. In the note found on her, she blamed a city resident for her woes. However, investigation revealed that they had been in a live-in relationship but she had later accused him of rape. The matter had reached HC but was closed after she withdrew the case then.
The 32-year-old woman had travelled to the city from Dhaka via Delhi on Jet Airways flight on July 7. She was later found sitting in the arrival lounge at the city airport in a semi-conscious condition. Medical experts examined her and sent her to the hospital after primary treatment. Meanwhile, officials recovered a suicide note written by her on the printout of the flight ticket.
