The passengers travelling between Jaipur and Udaipur will have more options to fly now as Air India has started its service between the two tourist destinations. The flight will operate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
There are already two more airlines operating on this route and the recently added flight shows the passenger load between the two cities. The flight number AI 9685 will take off from Jaipur at 6:50 am and will reach Udaipur at 8 am. Similarly, AI 9686 in return journey will take off from Udaipur at 8:30 am and will reach Jaipur by 9:30 am.
The other modes of transport are also connecting these two cities, while railway offers good service, Rajasthan Roadways also has seamless service between Jaipur and Udaipur. It’s mostly the tourists and the businessmen who travel frequently between Jaipur and Udaipur. Apart from having several tourist attractions, Udaipur has granite and marble quarries and businessmen of this sector frequently travel on this route for business purpose.
