Air India flight returns to Saudi from midair due to technical snag

Jeddah: A technical snag forced a Hyderabad- bound Air India flight, which took off from Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, to return to the airport, reports Saudi Gazette.

The passengers of Air India flight AI-966 had to sit through a delay on the night of Saturday. The indirect flight was en route to Hyderabad before flying to Mumbai, the report added.

After the flight took off on Sunday, it had to return to the airport within an hour in mid-flight due to a technical snag.
