Chennai: Airlines, including IndiGo, Spicejet, Vistara and Air India, are operating more flights to Thiruvananthapuram as the flooded Cochin International Airport will remain closed till August 26.
IndiGo, SpiceJet and Air India will operate one flight each from Chennai to Thiruvananthapuram and back. On August 18, Vistara will have two flights to Thiruvananthapuram and from August 19 to 26 (except Tuesday). This airline will have one flight a day to Thiruvananthapuram. SpiceJet will have another flight to Kozhikode from August 19 to 26.
IndiGo, in a statement, said, it would provide cancellation and rescheduling waiver to passengers booked to travel from August 16 to 26.
