Bengaluru: Security was tightened in and around Kempegowda International Airport on Monday following a call made by a man claiming that an IED had been planted in an Air India flight.
The officials carried out standard operating procedure and sanitised the entire area with the anti-sabotage squad. The KIA police later confirmed that it was a hoax call.
