New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force on Monday detected 44,900 US dollars, concealed in biscuit jar from the baggage of a passenger at Indira Gandhi International
airport at Delhi.
An official statement said here on Tuesday that around 1910 hrs, during Pre-Embarkation Security Check through x-ray machine at Security Hold Area, a CISF personnel noticed some suspicious image inside the bag of a passenger namely Mohd Kashif, who was supposed to travel to Dubai by Air India flight.
On opening the bag, 44,900 US Dollars worth approximately Rs 31,42,000, kept inside two white colour envelopes which were concealed in two plastic jars filled with small biscuits, was found.
