Deve Gowda’s plane held up over dues

Ajmer: The Air Traffic Control (ATC) on Thursday evening denied clearance for the take-off of a private plane in which former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda had come here from Kishangarh airport as airport fees was not paid to the authorities. The plane got delayed by 20 minutes and was allowed to fly only when the fees was paid.
Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda on Thursday morning along with his wife, son H D Kumarswamy, his wife, and some other relatives had landed at the Kishangarh airport. After visiting Pushkar and Ajmer dargah, they went back to Kishangarh airport to fly back in their private plane but Airport Authority of India (AAI) denied clearance.
According to officials, it is mandatory for every private plane to deposit airport fee when it uses any airport.
