Amritsar: Sleuths from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), in a joint operation with custom authorities, confiscated gold worth Rs 1.50 crore from Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport here on Friday.
They also nabbed the agent of a company who had come take the delivery of the gold. The consignment that reportedly came from Thailand arrived through cargo of a private airline. Further investigation is under way.
