Jet Airways starts direct flights for Chandigarh, Hyderabad

Indore: Private carrier, Jet Airways, has started direct flights from Indore to Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Two flights of the airliner left the city tarmac for Chandigarh and Hyderabad, on Wednesday. With this, the city gets two more direct flights for Hyderabad and Chandigarh and they were given water cannon salute.

With the rollout of new flights, the total number of flights operation from the city goes up to 88 per day. Airport Director Aryama Sanyal said that now 19 main cities were directly connected by flight service with the city. Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo and Air Asia are offering services from the city on these routes.
