Police arrested a 47-year-old man for possessing a fake passport which was obtained by furnishing bogus documents. Based on a complaint lodged by an immigration officer at the Trichy International airport, police have taken action, in Trichy on Monday.
According to police, R Sivakumar, 47, of Karukudi village in Thanjavur district was caught by immigration authorities at the airport after he arrived here from Saudi Arabia by Sri Lankan Airlines on Monday. He was later arrested and lodged in Trichy central prison.
