Telangana NRI dies on his way back home

Jeddah: An NRI, Mohammed Lique, a native of Karimnagar, working in Dammam in Saudi Arabia fell sick while he was flying back home and died while being treated in a hospital in Oman on Friday.
According to reports, the aircraft in which he was flying to Hyderabad made an emergency landing in Oman capital after he complained of discomfort. He was suffering from serious ailments for the last few months. He left for his hometown for treatment on Sunday by Jet Airways flight from Dammam to Hyderabad but Lique’s health deteriorated in mid-air.
The medical team that attended him at the Oman airport made all its effort to save the patient and rushed him to the Royal Hospital where he was in ICU for two days. But he breathed his last on Friday. The grief-stricken family back home in Karimnagar, approached Telangana community workers in Saudi Arabia for help, where Riyadh based Abdul Jabbar of Telangana NRI Forum and Mohammed Aqueel of TRS came forward.  The mortal remains of Lique was repatriated on Friday.
