Vadodara: Barodians can look forward to better air connectivity from the new integrated terminal building at Vadodara airport. Fliers will get two more domestic flights, to Jaipur and Indore, from next month.
While IndiGo had announced a direct flight to Hyderabad from September 15, Jet Airways is starting flights to Jaipur and Indore from September 2.
Vadodara MP Ranjan Bhatt and the Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) which had made representations to the Centre seeking better air connectivity from Vadodara, welcomed the decision.
According to the FGI, the Vadodara-Indore-Vadodara and Vadodara-Jaipur-Vadodara flights will operate four days a week — Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
