Vistara on Friday announced cancellation of select flights due to closure of the Cochin International Airport in Kochi, Kerala. The airline said that due to flooding, the airport will remain closed till at least Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Giving details of the impacted flights, which were previously scheduled to be operated through the Cochin International Airport, Kochi, Vistara said: "We will, however, be operating our COK (Kochi) flights to and from TRV (Trivandrum) Terminal 1 during this period in order to provide customers with an option to get within driving distance of COK."
“Our impacted flights are UK883 and UK885 Delhi (DEL)-Kochi (COK), UK882 and UK886 COK-DEL, UK774 Chennai (MAA)-COK, UK731 COK-MAA, all of which have been cancelled for the period August 15 through August 29 (both dates inclusive),” the airline said.
