Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while flagging off a new Gorakpur-Delhi-Gorakhpur daily flight of Indigo Airlines here on Monday said that UP would witness 22 airports with commercial flight service from next year.
Taking a dig at the previous governments he reminded people that there were only 3 airports with commercial flight service before 2017. "In Gorakhpur too, there were no such daily service, but now three flights are coming daily. The Gorakhpur airport which looked like a Dhaba has now turned into a good building," CM said.
