Surat: Union minister of petroleum and natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan promised people he would soon find a solution to the nagging problem of ONGC pipelines passing through Surat airport.
CR Paatil, Navsari MP of BJP, said, “The minister has promised that he would find a solution to the issue of two ONGC pipelines passing through the airport and becoming a hindrance to runway extension from 2,905 metres to 3,810 metres. Modern technology would be used to resolve the problem and there will no hindrance to airport’s expansion and operations.”
Dharmendra Pradhan, who was on a day’s visit to Surat, met city unit BJP president Nitin Bhajiyawala, party MLAs and MPs who apprised him of the problem being created by the two pipelines.
