Dimapur: To provide a cleaner environment and enhance passenger facilities at Dimapur Airport, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is taking up major upgradation of toilets at the cost of Rs 1.3 crore. The work will begin from October 15, 2018 onwards starting with the arrival and security area in the first phase and thereafter at the public concourse and check-in area. In this connection, AAI in a press release has requested arriving passengers to use the toilet in the concourse or portable toilet placed before the arrival gate.
It has requested the departing passengers to use the toilet of the concourse before proceeding for security check. An alternate portable toilet is also being provided in the barricaded portion of gate no-1, it also added.
