New Delhi: An AirAsia India flight carrying 168 passengers flying from Goa to Bengaluru made an emergency landing on Monday, within minutes of take-off from Dabolim airport. The flight made an emergency landing due to some technical fault. The details are yet to be known.
All passengers are safe. The AirAsia India flight took off from Goa at around 7.34 am but landed back at 8.12 am. In a statement, AirAsia said: "AirAsia India Flight i5 1325 from Goa to Bengaluru returned to Goa shortly after takeoff due to a technical fault."
"The aircraft landed safely at Goa Airport, and all affected guests are being attended to by our ground staff as the aircraft undergoes recovery. We regret the service disruption and apologize for any inconvenience caused," the statement added.
