Agartala: The movement of a large number of students, tourists, patients and VIPs from Tripura have been severely affected owing to shortage of flight tickets in last two weeks.
The crisis further deepened as the Ministry of Civil Aviation did not respond to the state government's request. According to official report, within two months of withdrawal of Spicejet aircraft from Tripura,Indigo withdrew its morning aircraft between Kolkata-Agartala route from Sunday on the plea of operational difficulties due to low visibility during winter.
