Indore doctor saves passenger’s life in midair

Indore: Dr Anil Bhadoria was flying from Hyderabad to Lucknow on an Indigo Airlines flight on Tuesday evening. At around 4 pm, a woman passenger suffered a cardiac arrest and fell unconscious. An announcement was made by the cabin crew asking whether any doctor was on board. Dr Bhadoria raised his hand and was taken to the woman. He found that her pulse was missing, she was not breathing and her body had turned cold.
The doctor began giving CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to her. After about two-and-a-half minutes, the pulse returned and the woman started breathing. She was asked to sip water.
At the advice of the doctor, the pilot sought permission for priority landing at Hyderabad airport, which was granted. At the tarmac, an ambulance was waiting for the woman. She was taken to a hospital, where his condition is said to be stable.
