Panjim: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will head the Mopa Airport Development Authority (MADA), which was notified as part of the Planning and Development Authority (PDA) in February, this year.
The government has notified the 12-member MADA under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. The members include Secretary Civil Aviation, Revenue, Town and Country Planning, Urban Development and Panchayat, Chief Town Planner, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Director of Health Services, Member Secretary of Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) and Director of Fire and Emergency Services. The Director Civil Aviation is the Member Secretary.
