Nashik-Ahmedabad flight bookings begin; Ops to start on October 29

Nashik: Hyderabad-based airline company TruJet on Monday started bookings for its maiden Nashik-Ahmedabad flights beginning from October 29.

The airlines with a 72-seater aircraft will operate on all seven days of the week under Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). Altogether, 36 seats will be available under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS).

Ahmedabad will be the fourth city that will be connected with Nashik aerially. The city is already is connected with Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. "We will start operations on Ahmedabad-Nashik-Ahmedabad sector from October 29. Initially, we had planned to operate from October 28, but had to postpone operations by a day due to some technical reasons," a TruJet official said.

The flight will take off from Ahmedabad at 4.55pm and land in Nashik at 6pm. It will take off from Nashik at 6.30pm and will land in Ahmedabad at 7.40pm. According to the official, the introductory airfare will be Rs 1,399 for a period of one month for passengers to facilitate them experience the journey by the TruJet flight.
