Mohali: Two airlines will not operate their Chandigarh-Delhi flights from November 15 to 27 due to runway repair work at the Delhi airport. Jet Airways and Air India flights will not operate as a runway at the Delhi airport will remain closed during the period. On Thursday, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had rapped the airport authorities for lack of facilities for international flights even though crores of rupees were collected from taxpayers and land taken from owners for the purpose. The Bench also asked for the reasons behind grounding the Bangkok flight.
