Fresh vegetables sourced from Assam can now be directly exported to UAE from Guwahati airport air cargo facility.
Earlier, for custom clearance, cargo had be to sent to Delhi.
The first consignment of around 810 kg of vegetables included pointed gourd, green seem, black seem, turnip, cucumber, brinjal, lemon.
