Aviation Secretary and DC inspect Dhalbhumgarh airport site

Jamshedpur: Civil Aviation Secretary of the Government of India and East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner jointly inspected the proposed site of airport in Dhalbhumgarh on Sunday.

The Aviation Secretary directed the district officials to once again review the first proposal for constructing the airport on a land measuring 150 acres and send a revised proposal to the department concerned within 15 days, sources said.
The Aviation Secretary said the people of Kolhan would be greatly benefitted by the airport.

District officials said the CM had ordered that the airport construction work should be started as soon as possible. Once the proposal is received by the department, a team would be sent to Dhalbhumgarh to inspect the construction site.
