The Yamuna Authority on Wednesday said it had prepared a bid document to invite concessionaire for the Jewar airport. Officials said the document is under evaluation on its different aspects before it is sent to government for final approval.
The bids for the airport will be invited soon as the government has received farm owners’ consent and issued notification for land acquisition.
Shailendra Bhatia, OSD, Yamuna Authority and nodal officer for Jewar airport project said with the notification under Section 11 of Land Acquisition Act, the airport project will expedite. Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), the consultant hired by YEIDA, had already submitted a separate concessionaire agreement on the project. The Authority will vet the document and then send to government for approval.
