Dimapur: The Chief Medical Officer Dimapur has acquired a fully equipped Force Traveller donated by Airport Authority of India (AAI), Dimapur.
M. Zhimo, Airport Director, AAI Dimapur handed over the key of the ambulance to Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi, Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur in the presence of Sushil Kumar Patel, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur on December 18 at CMO’s office Dimapur.
According to a press release received here, Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi assured that trained health personnel and technicians will be identified and deputed to make the ambulance fully operational at the earliest. He said, “The district is now assured of a ready and reliable ambulance to serve the people.” He further stated that the ambulance will also be used to give medical coverage to Official Guests and VIPs invited to the State.
Dr. Kinimi expressed gratitude towards the officials of AAI especially DK Kamra, Regional Executive Director, NE Region Guwahati and M. Zhimo, Airport Director, AAI Dimapur, for their generous donation.
