Navi Mumbai airport to be delayed by four months, new date is March 2020: CM Devendra Fadnavis

The ambitious Navi Mumbai international airport project will be delayed by at least four months, said chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in the legislative assembly on Friday. While replying to the final resolution proposal moved by the Opposition, on the last day of the winter session, Fadnavis fielded a barrage of questions on topics ranging from infrastructure to Sanatan Sanstha

Rescheduling the project deadline, he said it would be delayed by at least four months. Instead of December 2019, the first runway and one terminal building would be completed by March 2020, Fadnavis said.
