The Naval Aviation Museum is a naval museum situated along the Vasco-Bogmalo road, six kilometres from the city of Vasco-da-Gama and is the only one all over Asia, no other place on the continent has one.
The museum displays aircraft cannons, torpedoes, naval mines, sensors such as sonobuoys, and magnetometers, among others. The museum has replicas of India’s aircraft carriers, INS Vikrant, INS Viraat and various scale models of aircraft such as the LCA Tejas, and Chetak Helicopters.
The walls of the museum also provide an insight into the history of the aviation wing of the Indian Navy. The outdoor of the museum exhibits 13 decommissioned aircrafts.
